Terms of sale

These terms apply to every purchase from Northvale Liquidation (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them. Please read them alongside our returns & claims and shipping policies.
1. Buyers
We sell for resale and business use. You confirm that the information on your account is accurate and that you are authorised to order on behalf of any business named.
2. Listings, grades and manifests
Lots are sold as described by their condition grade. Photos may show representative pallets from the same source. Manifests, where provided, are a close guide to contents; unit counts may vary by up to 10%. Retail values are the source's stated retail prices and are not an indication of resale value.
3. Orders and reservation
An order reserves the lots for you and is an offer to buy at the listed price. A contract is formed when we issue an invoice. We may decline or cancel an order before invoicing, for example if a listing contains an obvious error, and will tell you why.
4. Price and payment
Prices are in US dollars and exclude freight and applicable taxes, which appear on your invoice. Payment is due by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo or wire transfer within 3 business days of the invoice. Unpaid orders may be cancelled and the lots relisted. Title passes on receipt of full payment.
5. Taxes
US sales tax is charged unless a valid resale or exemption certificate is on file. International buyers are responsible for import duties, taxes and compliance in the destination country.
6. Delivery and risk
Risk passes to you when goods are handed to the carrier or collected from our dock. Inspect deliveries on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
7. Resale restrictions
Some lots carry restrictions from the original retailer, such as no resale on certain marketplaces or removal of labels. Any restriction is stated on the listing and forms part of these terms.
8. Liability
Our liability for any lot is limited to the price paid for that lot. We are not liable for lost profits or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
